About Maya Hartwell
I came to resin through chemistry — and through a failed attempt to repair a piece of furniture in my London kitchen in 2020. What started as a miscalculated epoxy experiment became a methodical obsession with understanding exactly why resin behaves the way it does.
I moved to Austin in 2022 for the garage space. I have been working and writing there since.
The three-book series is the instruction I wished had existed when I started: technical without being academic, precise without being cold, and always tested on a real workbench before it appeared on a page.
